Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are simply irresistable, prized for centuries by English royalty & monarchs, but have only been recognized by AKC since 1995. Like many breeds, they are not without genetic problems. However, reputable breeders have been carefully monitoring their breeding stock for generations to identify and eliminate these problems. For this reason and many more, it is vital that you work with a reputable & knowledgeable breeder & not "backyard breeders" -- those who just breed indiscriminately for pets to sell !
          JUELLS: AKC Champions since 1979

JUELLS is proud to be a member of The AKC BREEDER OF MERIT program! This means as breeders of Cavaliers, we must follow the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club's (ACKCSC) recommended health testing protocol.
All of the dogs used in our breeding program have their hearts & eyes tested YEARLY by Board Certified Specialists. DNA swabs are sent to the U.K. to test for DE, CC & EF.  In addition, after a dog reaches two years of age, their hips & patellas are tested by OFA Certified Specialists.

Breeders of Merit must also meet additional requirements put forth by AKC. To read more about this program and the breeder requirements click here:

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are intelligent, loving companions whose life-long goal is to find a warm, welcoming lap. They make ideal family pets and are excellent with children as well as adults. Cavaliers are extremely good-natured and most will get along with cats and other dogs as well! They are not a high-energy dog but do love going for walks.

JUELL focuses on breeding sound minds & healthy bodies, as well as physical beauty and the sweet, gentle expression Cavaliers are known for. Our foundation lines are from imported English stock; the majority are Champions, with titled Champions behind them. JUELL has both Blenheims and the highly prized Tri-Colors.

Our primary stud dog is a Grand Champion Blenheim with multiple Best of Breeds from the classes and group placement wins to his credit. He is available to approved bitches only.

As a hobby kennel, showing at AKC dog shows is our real love-- thus we plan our litters carefully and breed only occasionally -- never more than once a year-- with the explicit goal of improving our lines and hoping for an outstanding show puppy that will be our next big winner in the show-ring! Naturally, not every puppy will meet the stringent requirements of a show-quality puppy. These JUELL Companion Puppies are placed with approved families and sold with AKC Limited Registration Papers and on spay/neuter contracts. ALL of Our puppies are "kitchen raised" -- extensively socialized & spoiled, and go to their forever homes around 10 weeks of age, after being vet checked at least twice, and given a completed health certificate, found free of parasites, fecal-tested negative, and having received age-appropriate vaccinations. We send our puppies to their new homes with their own Personalized Puppy Care Manual, a written Health Guarantee, a Diet Plan and food supply, and Crate-training/housebreaking information. We strive to maintain contact with our new extended "families"-- and encourage them to keep us updated on their new puppy/puppies' progress, and to call us anytime with any questions they may have.
