I became interested in Airedales in 1983 while living in South Bend, IN where I purchased 3 Airedales in a span of 15 years. Shortly after moving to Florida in 1998 I met the late Phyllis Madaus who introduced me to Sunshine Airedalers, (if you don't rescue; don't breed) rescue club that I am a member of. With the sponsorship of Phyllis & others I then became a member of the Airedale Terrier Club of America. I am also a member/officer of the newly formed Airedale Terrier Club of Florida. Having been introduced to the many facets of Airedales, I now enjoy breeding & showing Airedales that conform to the breed standard and sharing my love of the breed with others. I expect all my 'dales to be great companions first & to excel at what interests the owner; truly a versatile dog. 



The dogs I choose to breed are OFA'd Good or Excellent and I take great care in choosing the dogs I breed for health, temperment and conformation.  Several of my own dogs and those I've bred and placed have earned  the AKC Canine Good Citizen.  Puppies are socialized with small dogs, cats and children.  All my dogs live in the house, sleep on the bed, lounge on the sofa and are crate trained.  I've maintained relationships with my puppy buyers through ATCA and Sunshine Airedalers activities.  This allows me to see how the puppies have developed and ensures owners know thay can always come to me for any questions and concerns.
