I have raised Scottish Terriers for over 30 years and in the last 10 years have done some showing with the help of many great breeders. It definately makes a person more aware of true Scottie characteristics and a correct breed standard also health issues that are prevalent in the breed. I have paid particular attention to nice hard coats, beautiful heads with the right size ear set, also I look for that all important correct topline and tail length. Striving for good breed standard, makes a handsom pet even if they don't make the show cut. That all important disposition is at the top of my list when breeding.
I usally have two litters a year and sell on a spay/neuter contract to insure these puppies are going to great pet homes. My contract also guarantees health issues that might come up in the first two years that will cause death. I keep my puppies til they are 12 weeks of age before letting them go to their prospective homes.By that time they have their needed shots and can be sold. I also love to keep in contact with the new owners to make sure all is going well. If my puppy does not pass a vet check, for some reason all money will be refunded as written in the contract.
I do have a web site please feel free to call or email for more information or get on a waiting list. I have a facebook page you can view more info on my profile and kennel.
