I have trained and shown goldens since I was 10 years old, and with the help of my mom and aunt, have started my own kennel. All pet puppies are sold on limited-registration contracts with the AKC. We do proper clearances as specified by the GRCA code of ethics, which includes eyes, hips, heart, and elbows for any dogs that we breed. I personally show in conformation and a bit in obedience. I also talked my husband into trying out some dog training and he shows in agility! All our dogs live in the house and puppies are raised there as well. Golden retrievers are great b/c they are so versatile and can meet many needs and desires of owners. I try to maintain this versatility in my breedings.

Kia is a one year old golden that we had kept behind to evaluate for agility potential. She is a very light golden, almost white, weighing about 60lbs. She has been started in agility but we have decided this sport may not be the best for her as she is rather laid back. Looking for an active home for her nonetheless. She is not a couch potato and because she is smart, if left to her own devices, she will find trouble.
