We are blessed to have this wonderful Labrador breed in our lives. We are a hobby kennel with a dedication and passion for preserving the wonderful English type, temperament and versatility that is the hallmark of the Labrador Retriever. We compete primarily in AKC conformation events (show ring), along with some AKC obedience and hunt tests and have been involved in Labradors for over 10 years. We have a couple of litters a year and believe that a Labrador can have it all�. wonderful temperament, brains, retrieving instincts, good health, beauty and English type. We strive to breed what we believe is the "perfect Labrador". Beauty is just a small part of the dog (although it sure helps!) and we are proud to say that some of our dogs have won Labrador Specialty shows. Additionally, as a perfect testament to the temperament of our dogs, we have had puppies that have gone on to serve as leader dogs for the blind as well as therapy dogs for handicapped and elderly people. We have worked effortlessly for many years to maintain top-notch bloodlines and breeding stock. Our dogs are part of our family and are the sweetest, smartest Labradors that live to please and retrieve. Our puppies are thoughtfully bred and lovingly raised in our home and we are devoted to raising beautiful, healthy, well balanced and socialized puppies. It is important to us that our puppies are placed with loving families that will treat them as a family member. All of our breeding dogs have had their hips x-rayed and determined to be free of hereditary hip dysplasia. Their eyes are certified annually to be free of inheritable eye disorders by a board certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist (ACVO). We only breed to dogs that exhibit a wonderful Labrador temperament and conformation, as we hope to keep puppies out of every litter. Every dog bred has been tested and proven to be clear of hereditary hip dysplasia and certified to be free of inheritable eye diseases annually. These tests are performed so that our puppies are free of any congenital disorders. However, most congenital disorders have a polygenic mode of inheritance, meaning there is multiple gene involvement, making it impossible to determine with certainty that any puppy will be completely free from any disorder. Puppies leave us with information to help their new families understand how to create a living environment that will promote their best health and proper care. Nutrition, exercise and other conditions will play a role in determining whether the puppy will develop certain disorders as well as help puppies grow into happy, healthy adults. We give a health guarantee on all puppies. All puppies are de-worked and are given at least their first set of vaccinations, as well as started on heartworm prevention and early house training.
