We live in Elko Nevada. My dogs run, play and hunt what ever they can find. They are athletic and well socialized with other dogs and people. They will come and give you a big old scotty greeting if you come to visit. I usually only have black puppies but occasionally get a wheaten color now and then. I have a few retired scotties I may offer to the right people for a pet only. My girls are Gemma, Honey, and Riley, Bella Bee, Bonnie, Gypsy, and Chula My males, Mickey and Bernie.  My dogs have been used around livestock and if you have owned a scottie in the past you will understand that they dont need to be trained to understand what needs to be done. They have been known to herd sheep, lead horses and keep anything unusual at bay. I have been a breeder for over 25 years and have had scotties in my life for 35. I sell my puppies with a limited registration and certain ones a full registration for a higher fee. All my dogs are registered with AKC. I breed for temperament, conformation and coat according to AKC standards.

I could not have said it better!
Copied and modified from a friend. I am a breeder. I spent a lifetime learning pedigrees, going over dogs, talking, and learning from those in my breeds and those outside it. I raise each litter as if I gave birth to them and spent an equal amount of time finding them loving forever homes. I only put puppies on this planet that I thought would be the healthiest (mentally and physically) and nicest examples of their breed. I supported each family who chose one of my puppies and let them know they are now a part of our extended family. I am there if one needs to come back. I support my breed in rescue and education. I hold them when they arrive and leave this world. I share my knowledge and socialized my puppies so that they are the advertisement for my dedication. I never keep track of the money and time I put in to my love of dogs, it would not be a true measure of how I feel. The price I charged for my puppies was never profit, but investment in the next generation. I am not ashamed of who I am... I worked hard and still do at being a good dog person and encouraging others to be the same. I am still a breeder (abet smaller now) and I am proud of it. I support my breeder friends.
