Havanese Availability:

We currently have one AKC chocolate Parti color male puppy $3500 available and 1 year old chocolate & cream point male available for $2500.

We occasionally have adults looking for adoption through our foster, rescue and or rehoming program.  Adoption fee ranges from $500-$1500 depending on age, condition, needs etc.

If you would like to acquire one of our AKC Creme de la Creme pups or have interest in adoption/fostering, please contact me directly and request our Prospective Puppy Owner Questionnaire.  [email protected]

(If you have inquired prior and have not received a response from me, please resend. I have had computer/email issues over the last year that I think I have finally worked out.)

This Prospective Puppy Owner Questionnaire helps us get to know you, your family, and preferences to ensure proper puppy placement.  We look forward to getting to know you!

About Us: Ethical and reputable breeder that has enjoyed raising and loving the Coton de Tulear (KO-Tone dih TOO-Lay-ARE) since 1999 (now retired from raising the Coton) and the Havanese (HAVE-A-Knees) since 2005. We breed for quality, health, temperaments & dispositions, with ESA, Pet Therapy & family companionship in mind. We have trained several of our puppies as (ESA) Emotional Support Animals, (PT) Pet Therapy and (AAT) Animal Assisted Therapy prospects. Continued training and care in a responsible loving home setting ensures a happy companion for your family. You will find that we are very particular about our pup’s placement and future. We are not going to place our puppies with just anyone. We want them to go to loving companion homes. We take great pride in our puppies. We have placed many in high profile homes and there is a reason we mostly place by referral and repeat families. Above all, they are part of our family, and we want our puppies to go to homes where they too will be part of the family dynamic. Get your puppy from someone that truly cares about the welfare of the breed as well as their placement. We have a lifetime return policy on our pups! We only place our pups in homes with spay/neuter agreements and limited nonbreeding rights.

Do you ever have older Coton or Havanese dogs available? We occasionally have Coton de Tulear or Havanese available for adoption. Luckily since these are rare breeds, we are not seeing a lot of them in harm’s way. If you are possibly interested in acquiring an adult Coton or Havanese from; retired adult, ESA/PT training program releases, rehoming opportunities, rescue endeavors, please inquire for more information on current & future availability. If you would like to open your home as a prospective foster family; please request our PPOQ.

What kind of environment do you raise your puppies in? Our pups are home raised with lots of love. We are not a kennel and do not have a dog "facility". Our pups are raised in our home in the middle of everyday life, as part of our family, under foot. Just about everyone in our family has a Coton or a Havanese. I do not believe you can raise either of these breeds to be part of the family dynamic in a separate kennel/ dog run/ facility type setting. Our Havanese have the sweetest temperaments making them excellent as emotional support and pet therapy prospects.

What can we expect to come with our new puppy?  Our pups will come with age appropriate booster shots, routine de-worming, detailed health record, health guarantee, puppy purchase contract including spay/neuter agreement, temperament guarantee, life time return policy, informative care guide (as well as several other training guides), grooming guide, list of recommended items with Amazon purchase links, special nail clippers, harness, leash, food scoop, potty break kit, treat jar, spray conditioner, chew, treats, potty pad, toy(s) and lovey with litter mates scent, poison alert list, Royal Canin Small Puppy food starter kit, vitamins, and misc. pamphlets on insurance, coupons, samples, id tags, etc. Typically, I keep my pups until they are 10-12 weeks. I have held on to pups longer to continue training, timing issues, etc. I take each pups readiness into consideration and do not rush pups out the door. This is a lot more work for me but makes for a smoother transition into your family. I will sometimes let a pup go to a home around 9 weeks of age if the home is a seasoned local dog owner.

What can we expect from you as our Breeder?  We stand behind our puppies with a strong lifetime return policy and health guarantee, puppy purchase contract, and valuable experience/knowledge of the breeds. We are here to help mentor you, providing you and your puppy with lifetime breeder guidance and support. We expect to hear from you and see pictures as your puppy grows! We will be here for you whenever you need us.

Do you ship your puppies? For families out of the South Houston area needing shipping considerations we offer two options; Most airlines now accommodate your pet as carry on. We ask that out of area families fly into HOU Hobby, meeting us with pup in hand at the airport or nearby hotel night layover. You can then fly back with your new puppy in cabin. Usually, you can find flights completing round trip same day. Southwest usually has the best flight rates. Second option: We offer a Flight Nanny Service. The flight Nanny we use is very dependable and trustworthy. He picks up your pup directly from me at HOU and hand delivers directly to you at your nearest major airport. He is with the puppy the entire flight with text & picture updates every leg of the trip. This service is around $650.

I highly recommend that you try finding a local ethical and reputable breeder that you can visit in person. I do understand that you may not have access to these breeds in your area. Worse yet there are many puppy-mills & online scams to steer clear of. NEVER purchase a pup from a pet store or puppy broker. An ethical breeder would never place their pups for sale in a store or through a broker. They would want to personally know where their pups are going and would thoroughly check out each buyer, have you fill out a questionnaire, waiting list, require a spay/neuter agreement, purchase contract, and offer a health guarantee etc.

How do I get on your waiting list or secure a puppy for my family? We ask that everyone interested in one of our adorable puppies fill out our Prospective Puppy Owner Questionnaire (PPOQ). This helps us get to know your family to ensure proper puppy placement. We feel it is very important to match puppies to their new homes perfectly. Due to limited availability and scheduling conflicts, we prioritize visits for families with deposits placed.

A deposit reserves your place on our waiting list in the order deposits are received or a specific pup if available. This deposit is applied to your pup’s purchase price with the remainder due at the time of pickup. The deposit is fully transferable to one of my future litters should something come up with your timing, or a pup of your preferences is not available.

I am not ready to purchase but have never meet a Havanese. Can I visit just to see them? As you can imagine, the rarity of this breed and recent popularity have spiked inquires of families just wanting to visit. We must limit visitors to those on our deposit waiting lists, or those choosing/picking up their pups. We mostly place our pups via repeat families and referrals. We try to only schedule a few 1 hr visits on the weekends or possibly weekday evenings when we have current availability. This is our home, and we are protective of who we invite in

We care about who will be adopting our little ones. After all, this is a 15-20 year long investment you are making. You want your puppy to be a healthy and happy part of your life.

Thank you for your interest in our fur-babies! Good luck in your search! If you need advice or help regardless of if you go with one of my pups please send me an email.
