Welcome to Cedar Forrest Terriers – AKC Austrian and Cairn Terriers - We are located in Centerville, Tx --- halfway between Dallas, Tx and Houston, TX.

We have AKC Champion Bloodline Cairn Terrier Puppies, (Red Brindle - MALES) with German and Swedish breeding on the sire ancestry.

Our Cairn and Australian Terriers run on 5 acres, mostly wooded, hunting armadillos, possums, squirrels, rabbits, vermin, snakes, bugs, basically anything that moves. The acreage is surrounded by a high game fence.

Our Cairns and Austrians loves to go hiking with us, swimming, hunting, and fishing. They are both full of personality, loves attention and companionship.

The biggest difference is, our Cairns are excellent guard dogs and will definitely alert you if someone comes up, anything different, or unusual noise, whereas our Austrian Terriers seems to be more vocal, our male will carry on a conversation with you and talk a lot of smack, basically they are a barrel of monkeys fun, will sit or sleep with you all night and not make a sound. Both Cairn and Austrians are just exceptional, very loyal companions.

A little about us, we raised Cairns about 25 years ago and absolutely loved it but becoming an older Mom and working it became more than we could handle. Now that our son Forrest has graduated, we wanted to continue with our passion, raising these fabulous dogs.

We are very proud of the bloodlines that we have. They are absolutely gorgeous, very heathy, sturdy, and intelligent. Our Terriers are bred for temperament, health, and rue to its breed. Our selected breeding Terriers doesn’t have any problems or genetic differences such as skin issues, hair, teeth, health or weight.
