We are an Imperial (miniature) Shih Tzu hobby breeder. We just want to be able share these little bundles of cuteness with the rest of the world in the hopes they provide others with as much joy and happiness as they bring to our lives. Our lines come from a breeder in Texas that has raised Imperial Shih Tzus for 35 plus years. She is trying to step down as an active breeder and we are continuing on her lines and work. We are thankful for her guidance in helping us to avoid common pitfalls and her abundance of knowledge and insight. We enjoy raising all of our puppies as socialized and well behaved members of our zoo.
Imperial Shih Tzus are a smaller sized subset of the standard Kennel club recognized Shih Tzu breed. The standard Shih Tzu averages 15-25 pounds whereas our babies are typically somewhere between 3 to 8 pounds.
- $1500 is the current price per puppy for our miniature puppies (over 4lbs)
- $3000 is the current price per puppy for our micro puppies (under 4lbs)
Imperial Shih Tzus because of their small size are typically not ready to go home with their new families until 10-12 weeks of age. In most cases they take longer to develop than other breeds and in general everything takes longer. We make sure the dogs have all age appropriate puppy shots before going home. We provide a puppy starter kit with each new puppy to include:
- wet and dry dog food to get you started
- 1 application of an all in one flea, tick, & heartworm preventative
- 2 doses of deworming medicine
- all age appropriate shots & vaccines minus rabies
- General information pamphlet about what to expect from your new puppy
- CKC starter kit to include shot record
- Puppies are typically considered ready to go home at 12 weeks of age, but each puppy is different and will not be released until they're ready.
- When the puppy is picked up cash only is due at that time.
