My story begins when I fell in love with Aunt Lida's Yorkshire Terrier, Maggie.I wanted a little girl of my own and searched for an entire year. The local vet gave me 5 references. They were all at least 60 miles away. As a result of those references I found My Missy" in November 1997. She was my late birthday present.I thought how nice it would be if people in my area wouldn't have to travel as far as I had to get a Yorkie. That thought led me to look for a little boy and start a business so I could provide "Excellent Pet Quality Yorkshire Terriers" locally.I acquired Max in April of 1998.One day in the fall of 1998 I was looking at Dog World Magazine and saw several ads for Yorkshire puppies.I asked my husband if I could get another girl for Christmas. He agreed.I found one in Mondovi Wisconsin.I guess us "Yorkie Lovers" will do whatever it takes to get what we want.My husband, an over the road truck driver, said he could try to get a load near there and pick her up for me. On December 23rd,1998 he brought my "Megn" home to me.In the summer of 1999 I met my mentor,Lillian Pfaff. She had called inquiring about my ad.We became wonderful friends.I consider her my mentor because she taught me everything she knows about the business. She is a retired Yorkshire breeder of 32 years and had Yorkshires on the show circuit. My business has grown. I now have 5 breeding "kids" beside my house pets.I want to stay small.I feel it is important to spend time with them. I never want to get too big to do that! My puppies receive alot of love & attention as a result they, have wonderful, loving dispositions.Ask my clients, they will tell you! I also feel it is important for them to have adequate exercise and good nutrition. But my main aim is ALWAYS TO BREED TO IMPROVE THE BREED. My Kids are AKC and CKC Registered. My puppies have 1st shots, are vet checked and wormed every 2 weeks since age 4 weeks. Another important point:I make sure they are oriented to people and their environment.I don't want them to be afraid of people. My health guarantee is given in writing.I am very particular about My Kids new parents and the home they may go to! They are usually 9 or 10 weeks old before I will allow them to go to their forever homes.I need to be as sure as I can be that they are going to loving/caring homes, My babies are on solid food for a minimum of 2 weeks before going to their forever homes. They all have been vet checked with 1st shot by a licensed vet also. I do not sell for breeding purposes.I sell excellent quality pets and am proud to be a Yorkshire Terrier breeder. This breed is unique and ideal for the family existance or a single person's constant companion, for apartment, city or suburban living.I have many email addresses and phone numbers of satisfied customers for references.Photos upon request. I have a male stud, Remi, availablle for stud service. I'm looking to buy a large female yorkshire Terrier.
