Rocky Creek Kennel, Miniature Schnauzers is located in the Shenandoah Valley, we are 45 minutes North of Harrisonburg, VA, 45 minutes South of Winchester and 2hrs. South/West of DC. Puppies are raised on our 45 acre farm with lots of love and fresh air. Puppies are family raised for temperament, conformation and color. We strive to raise quality puppies for the discriminating pet owner. They are socialized, Vet checked, with first and sometimes second shots before they leave our care. Puppies do not leave us before they are at least 8 wks. of age. They may stay longer depending on how well they are eating and gaining weight. You have until puppies are 12 weeks of age to decide if you'd like to crop their ears. We do not provide this service. AKC papers are not provided on pet puppies. All of our breeding dogs are AKC and DNA'd.  Also available,Schnorkies and French/English, Frenglish,Bulldogs, limited availability.
Prices run from $1500.00 to $2200.00 for Schnauzers, $1500.00 for Schnorkies.  Price depends on color, registration, conformation, coat and size. If you wish to have full registration it must be discussed in advance otherwise pet puppies are sold without papers.
     About me: I've been raising dogs for 40 years, I started with Doberman Pinchers. In 1989 I started breeding Shih Tzus and Labs in my home in Luray. In 1998 I moved to my present home at the base of the Blue Ridge Mtns. I started raising Mini Schnauzers in 1999, Schnauzers have always been my favorite breed.
     I'm a mother of 3 grown children and grandmother to 6 grandchildren (in charge of loving, hugging and spoiling the pups). I've been self employed since 1993, doing Daycare until 2003. Now I concentrate on my farm and kennel. As well as the dogs I have 4 horses, 2 ponies, 5 beautiful barn cats, chickens, cows and one man. Don't ask which is the most trouble. My love for animals goes back to the beginning. We always had a dog in the house as well as fish, birds, mice, gerbles and anything else I could talk my mom into. Every Christmas I'd run to the window to check the backyard, in the middle of Fairfax, to see if Santa brought the pony I asked for.
