Porth Kennels is located in Lexington, South Carolina. We are a "dachshund-only" hobby breeder specializing in many colors of dachshunds, including imported English Creams, Black/Cream, and Chocolate/Cream as well as colors like Red, Black/Tan and Chocolate/Tan. We now specialize in long coats.

We breed as a hobby and are very concerned about planning each litter, considering their temperament, conformation and health. We actively show our dogs in the US and Canada. We have exceptional quality and have been all of over the US, Canada and England selecting our breeding stock. We screen potential buyers for suitability to own a puppy. We have all parents on-site, and in some cases the grandparents. References available upon request.  If any pup we raise ever needs a home, we require by contract that the dog is returned to us.
