Shetland Sheepdog. Looking like a miniature collie,the Sheltie is a wonderful companion. The breed has a natural instinct to protect you and your family and excels in obedience trials and agility. We have been breeding Shelties since 1994. Our puppies are born and raised in our home where they spend time with our family. By the time they are ready to go to their new homes, they have been wormed, vet checked, puppy shots and dew claws removed and have AKC Microchips. The come with an excellent puppy kit - shot record book, growth chart, lots of info on raising your puppy, family photos, their AKC papers. They are used to the normal household activities like kids, vacuum cleaners, and a lot of love. We are confident that our puppies will be a pleasing addition to your family
Understanding of new commands: Less than 5 repetitions
Obey first command: 95% of the time or better
Shetland Sheepdogs are known for their agility and prowess as competitors. According to the American Kennel Club, the breed likes to chase moving objects, so they are best kept on-leash or in a fenced in area.
