  There are only three AKC-recognized colors for Labrador Retrievers As well as some pale, or dilute forms of those colors-AKC only recognizes the three colors when registering them. . Those colors are black, yellow and chocolate. However, the recessive color gene that occasionally turns chocolate dogs silver also exists in the Black Lab and Yellow Labs.

All puppies have been born in my hands.  They are held and interacted with early socialization the moment they are born, held, cuddled and loved on daily. I stay home from work for the first two weeks of the puppies life’s and never leave them I want to be sure momma and babies are doing well; that their bedding and environment is clean, safe and protected.

The puppies will be given a Wellness checkup and first worming before they leave along with their first series f shots.  It is suggested you to set up an appointment with your vet soon after  you take your puppy home.

The puppies AKC certificate will be sent home with you.  You can register your new puppy via US mail or online at the AKC Website.  A goody bag is sent home for you and puppy- a small blanket that momma has slept on so your baby has mommas smell the first few nights.  Directions on how to feed and water will be provided. And if you have not purchased your puppies food a small bag will be in the puppies go home bag.  We live a half mile from Tractor Supply.  I buy all my puppy and dog food there.  We use 4 Health which is Tractor Supplies label for Blue Mountain.  You do not want to instantly change a dog’s food as  it causes stress on their tummies and can cause diarrhea.  If you chose to use another brand you must introduce the new a little at a time over a period of ten days.

Our puppies are great family dogs, hunting dogs and service and comfort dogs.  We have families that have come back and gotten more pups to add to their families. We have trainers that purchase our pups; one puppy –Bailey just went to live in Florida with a special needs family!  Tank is being trained to be a hunting dog.   You can go to my Facebook page- Karla Faucett and look under Ginger, Jasmine, Sage and Willow puppies to see all the families and dogs pictures. Ginger and Jasmine are retired and great playmates :) .  We can help you in choosing just the right puppy and will provide lifetime assistance with your dog. Several of our dogs come back to visit and board while their families go on vacation.

Our puppies are good healthy loving pups.  They will make you and your family very happy.

If you have decided that you would like a puppy there is a $500 deposit. Total cost of pups are $1000. For Puppies we accept deposits via Golden One Pop Money, via Zelle, cash or check. The final payment must be in cash. I will need your full name, address, phone number and email address. I post almost daily on Facebook pictures and videos of the pups as they are growing so you can experience them as they progress.

You can anticipate years of fun and companionship. Adding a dog to your life is a big commitment. When you come to first see the puppies we have a mini-interview.  We want to be sure that you and puppy are a good fit for each other. .Do you have the time and patience to deal with the trials and tribulations of puppy hood?  Can you give the dog enough attention and exercise?   If for some reason on the first visit it doesn’t seem to be a good fit you would receive back your deposit.

We have an annual BBQ Dog Birthday Party!  We have been going to Rancho Seco. Rancho Seco has camp sites- both tent and RV available if you want to stay overnight or welcome to come up for the day- the choice is yours.    On the lake are two huge dog parks- one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs.  The area is grassed in with nice shade trees and one side is open to the lake.  The dogs have a blast with Frisbees, ball flingers swimming, running and playing with each other.  For the bbq we provide the meat and everyone brings a small side dish.  I make the dogs homemade dog cookies, and dog birthday cupcakes; all dogs are given a birthday goodie bag to take home.  We have so much fun with all the families comparing each other’s dogs in size color and behavior.  Over the last 12 years we have watched not only puppies but the  families grow too! Everyone really enjoys the day we are one great big extended family.
