Idlewild Shelties is a small kennel located in Alachua County right off of I-75 and easily accessible to I-95. Our goal is to produce healthy, well socialized puppies that exemplify the AKC standard to the highest degree. We have one or two carefully planned litters a year and puppies are raised in the house. All pet puppies are sold with a spay/neuter and non-breeding contract. If you are interested in a puppy please EMAIL letting me know what you are specifically looking for (color, sex, age etc.) and why. A fenced yard is required.

All of our puppies come with a neuter/spay contract, pre-paid limited AKC registration, microchip with pre-paid lifetime enrollment in AKC Re-unite, FL state health certificate, training packet, money back for titles/certificates and a 4 year genetic health guarantee. I generally require a fenced yard but make exceptions on a case by case basis.

Current availability as of 11/29/23: All puppies have now had both bivalent canine influenza vaccines, full puppy series and their one year rabies.

Our litter born 10/21/22 has a single tricolor boy available. Thumper will likely be somewhere below or around 16," is very sweet but currently would need a quieter home that will be patient in allowing him to adjust. Sire is OFA hips excellent, elbows normal, OFA thyroid normal, low risk for DMS and clear for CEA, DM, MDR1, PRA and VWD. Dam is OFA hips good, elbows normal, in house thyroid normal and clear for TgAA, she is clear for MDR1, PRA and VWD.  A fenced yard is required.
