Welcome to Merimaur Goldens! My name is Maureen Quinlan. I am a small, private breeder and my dogs are my pets and also my family. I have been breeding Goldens since 1987.I fell in love with the breed after having experience with most breeds as I ran a boarding kennel. Goldens are the BEST! Beautiful, smart gentle and kind. I try to breed the dogs for the best health and temperaments possible. The health clearances for the sire and dam are very important and no dog should be bred without them.  It is not by chance that healthy dogs are bred but through diligence.  My puppies leave here wormed, they have their first puppy vaccination, have been vet checked and temperament tested. I temperament test to try to match the new family with the best puppy for them and their lifestyle.

The parents are completely Health Certiified clear for Hips, eyes, hearts, elbows, patellas, and all DNA that can currently be checked for.
 Most pups will be a light gold color, noo white and noo red are exppected. The health and temperaments of the litter should be excellent,as are the paprents.
