Located in Scotts Valley just outside of Santa Cruz, Blackroot Vale has bred Jack Russell terriers since 1984.  We love the breed because of its versatility and all our dogs that has become important members of our family.  All of our terriers are registered with the JRTCA and come from Championship bloodlines.  Our breeding stock is BAER and CERF tested.  We are members of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA) and strongly adhere to its Code of Ethics.  We urge you to check the JRTCA website (https://www.therealjackrussell.com) to learn more about the breed as these dogs are not for everyone.

We are planning on breeding Xanadu to a Long Creek JRT stud in June, 2022 and will be taking reservations shortly to approved homes.
