I have been around dogs my whole life. Growing up on a farm, my dad raised hunting dogs, amongst the farm animals. His passion became mine. Throughout my life, I assisted my dad with the dogs, learning the husbandry side of it. Even after moving out and starting my own life and family, I was still drawn back to my dad and his dogs. I eventually started raising my own hunting stock. From the German Shorthair Pointers to now Cairn Terriers, being able to raise healthy and  happy pups has been something that I'm very proud of. After wanting a Cairn for most of my life, I started raising Cairns about 7 years ago and I can't imagine my life without at least a handful around me! 

Our dogs live in our home with us and are a very big part of our family. My pups are started out in a nursery, a room off the main part of the home, so that momma's can focus on the pups without any added stress. Once the pups are around 4 weeks old, I move them into the main part of the home, so that they learn the sounds and schedules of a household. Our pups are handled often and are exposed to adults, supervised children, our resident cat and the adult dogs in our home. I keep our pups until they are 10 weeks old, minimium. This ensures that they will have 2 of their 3 puppy shots done, will be vet checked, current on a dewormer schedule, microchipped, eating and drinking well on their own, and started on a litter box housebreaking method. 

Our pups come with a contract that covers a one year health guarantee and also has language in it to ensure that I will always take back a pup, if circumstances in the new household changes. Life happens and worrying about where the pup will go should not be an added stress.

I am always up for talking dogs, either through that platform or, if you reach out, we can talk on the phone or text. I firmly believe that once you place a deposit on my pups, you become family. 

Ultimately, my goal with our dogs and pups are to bring happiness and fur covered love to all that are interested.
