About Me – Karli Mueller, Kaler Wheatens

My name is Karli Mueller, and I am the second-generation breeder behind Kaler Wheatens, a legacy that has been thriving since 1979 and started by my mother Karen Mueller. My passion lies in breeding Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, focusing on preserving their exceptional temperament and health.

As a behavioral rehab specialist and trainer for over 25 years, I have worked with countless dogs that, unfortunately, did not receive the proper upbringing from their breeders—leading to mental and emotional challenges. This experience has driven me to develop a custom raising program, a method that has been successfully adopted by breeders across the country, ensuring puppies receive the essential foundation they need to become well-balanced members of their new families.

I believe that the first 10 weeks of a puppy’s life are the most critical, shaping their future personality, confidence, and adaptability. My dedication goes beyond just breeding—I invest time, knowledge, and care into every puppy to give them the strongest start possible.
